Shadow the Hedgehog Coloring Pages
Shadow the Hedgehog is the black hedgehog from the Sonic the Hedgehog series and Sonic’s arch-rival. Professor Gerald Robotnik created him on the Space Colony ARK as the “Ultimate Lifeform”, and his trademark power is Chaos Control, which lets him warp time and space with a Chaos Emerald. This set of free printable Shadow the Hedgehog coloring pages puts him in a different scene on every page. Shadow skates down a city street on his Air Shoes, grinds a rail above the city, rides a motorcycle through the desert, drives a race car, does tricks on a hoverboard over a half-pipe and snowboards down a mountain.
Some pages show his powers: Shadow holds a Chaos Emerald high, stands in a ring of all seven Chaos Emeralds, lifts a giant boulder over his head and climbs a skyscraper. Others are calmer, like Shadow on a rooftop under a crescent moon, looking at Earth from a space station window, or sitting on a canyon rock at sunset. There is a Halloween page with jack-o’-lanterns, a snowy day in a striped scarf, a training gym and a big close-up portrait of Shadow pointing right at you.

Coloring ideas
Shadow has black fur with red stripes on his head quills, around his eyes and on his arms and legs. His eyes are red, his muzzle and the inside of his ears are tan, and he has a patch of white fur on his chest. His gloves are white with black cuffs and red tongues, and his Air Shoes have the same black cuffs and red tongues. He wears a Limiter Ring on each wrist and ankle. A black marker or a dark gray pencil for his fur, with bright red stripes, makes him pop. The Chaos Emeralds, the night sky, the desert and the race track are all yours to color any way you like.
Who these pages are for
The simpler pages, like Shadow striking a pose, holding a Chaos Emerald or training at the gym, have big shapes that are quick to fill. The busier scenes, such as the city street, the skyscraper, the desert road, the canyon and the snowy mountain, have lots of small pieces for older kids, teens and adults who want a longer session. Sonic fans of any age can print as many copies as they need for home or classroom use.
